How your score adds up
PPG + 1.2 × RPG + 1.5 × APG- Use the arithmetic mean over each player’s best eligible three consecutive completed NBA/BAA regular seasons.
- Each season needs 40+ games and 24+ minutes per game; the window needs 150+ games combined.
- Round each player’s index to 0.1, then add your five. The weights are game-design choices.
What the model leaves out
- No pace or era adjustment, defense, efficiency, lineup fit or win probability. This cannot name a definitive greatest team.
- Historical rates use rounded source values; modern rates come from season totals.
- Disputed and approximately pooled historical rows, seasons ending in 2027, and players without three qualifying seasons are excluded.
- Audited coverage does not include every player or career season.

Each player has one game slot selected from sourced career roles. Fictional costs follow the disclosed balancing curve based on this edition’s index within each position. Everyone on a given UTC day uses the same roster, data, model, rules and cap.
